About the Journal

AFNAN: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and scholarly works in the broad field of Islamic Studies. The journal welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers covering Qur'anic Studies, Hadith Studies, Islamic Theology, Islamic Law, Islamic Education, Islamic History and Civilization, Islamic Philosophy, Sufism, Contemporary Islamic Thought, Islam and Society, Islam and Culture, as well as interdisciplinary studies related to Islam. AFNAN implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process and upholds the principles of publication ethics established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Published biannually in June and December, the journal aims to promote academic excellence, intellectual diversity, and global scholarly collaboration under the spirit of its motto, "Rooted in Tradition, Growing with Innovation."
